Why Use Sims 4 Skills Cheats?

What are the Skill Cheats?

Before we move on to the various cheat codes that you can use, here’s how you can enable the cheats.

• Click on Ctrl + Shift + C.
• Type “testingcheats true.”
• Now, you can enter any cheat code you want. 

All the skill cheat codes would start as “stats.set_skill_level” and then the rest of the code depends on the skill. 

Major, Minor and Hidden Skills – 

Skills in the game are divided into major and minor categories, where major skills refer to those that significantly impact your avatar’s life, such as career, aspirations, etc.

On the other hand, minor skills are those that don’t have a lot of effect on their daily life and are done for pleasure, such as dancing, learning about a new culture, and so on. 

Players can only level up using cheats in major skills and not minor or hidden ones, so if you’re trying to use a shortcut, but it’s not working, then it might be because the skill is a minor one. 

Skill Levels – 

Not all prowess have the same levels, so some might have 10, some might have 5, and others might have 15 levels. It depends on the skill you’re learning. For instance, toddler abilities are only till level 3 or 5 because there’s no point in learning something for so long as a toddler.

Base Game

Here’s a list of the cheats that are available to the players in the base game itself. It’s for adults, toddlers, and other ages.

This skill has 10 levels and focuses on the way your avatar relates to others and also improves their social skills. Having charisma would make them popular and help them move forward in their career.

There are 10 levels, and it decides whether others would find their jokes funny or not. If your character’s planning on pursuing an entertainment career, especially the comedian branch, then it’d help them in that field.

This prowess refers to the basic cooking skill which your character can gain as soon as they cook for the first time. As your avatar progresses through the levels, they’ll acquire more recipes, and eventually, they can reach the Gourmet Cooking Skill. There are 10 levels in it.

The fishing skill helps your avatar gain better baits, which would allow them to catch good quality fish, such as Angelfish. It’s up to the players whether they want to cook, sell, mount, or keep these fish as pets. Its levels are from 1 to 10.

As your sim paints on an easel or a digitalistic sketchpad, even the placemats at the restaurant and street murals can be your character’s choice of expression.

Your sim can also sell, gift, or hang these paintings wherever they want. They also have the option to add mood buffs to some of their creations as they level up to level 10.

Similar to the guitar skill, this ability will offer them more song options to play and compose as well. They earn extra money by playing in public or by licensing their songs. There are 10 levels to choose from.

This prowess is only available for those with the Get to Work pack, and it’s quite simple to start because all your sim has to do is click photos with a digital camera or phone, which includes selfies as well.

You can sell, gift, or display these anywhere, and those with the Moschino SP would also acquire special photo studio objects and digital photo frames, and they can choose the Freelancing Photographer career as well.

Again, this is an ability, which helps them in the Tech Guru career. It enables them to earn money by playing games in the comfort of their homes either by being part of tournaments or live streaming. As your avatar inches toward level 10, they’d acquire more variations in video games to play.

With 10 levels, this prowess offers your avatar several song options for playing as well as composing. Playing these creations in public or licensing these songs would help you earn more simoleans.

Get to Work Skills Cheats

In addition to cooking skills, there are also certain hidden options that this pack offers the players in the Retail career.

Baking isn’t the same as cooking, because it requires you to make cupcakes, cookies, etc. As your avatar levels up to the 10th level, they can unlock various unique recipes and decorating items, and they can sell these items to earn money.
